רוּחַ אֱלֹהִים  ·  the Spirit of God

In every
breath,
a beginning.

Ruach Elohim Foundation is a community shaped by the Spirit that moved over the waters at the start of all things — still moving, still making new, still here.

Genesis 1:2

"...and the Ruach Elohim was hovering over the waters."

We take our name from the first breath.

Before there was light, before there was land, there was the Spirit — moving quietly over the deep, waiting to bring forth life. We believe that same Spirit is still moving: over broken places, over tired people, over this city.

Ruach Elohim Foundation exists to be a people who notice that movement and respond to it — in worship, in honest community, and in practical love for our neighbors.

What we hold to

Simple, historic, unhurried convictions — the same ones the Church has carried for two thousand years.

One God, three persons

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — Ruach Elohim — distinct yet one, eternally present and active in the world.

Scripture as our ground

We read the Bible as God's true word to us, the story we find ourselves inside of and measure our lives against.

Grace, not performance

We come to God through Jesus Christ alone — not by earning a place, but by receiving one that's already been made.

The Spirit, still moving

We expect the Holy Spirit to be present in worship and in ordinary life — comforting, convicting, and making things new.

The Church, together

Faith isn't kept alone. We belong to each other, carry each other's burdens, and grow through real community.

Love, in the open

What we believe should show up in how we treat people — especially those the world has overlooked.

Where it takes shape

A few of the ways this community lives out its faith together, week to week.

Worship Gatherings

Sunday mornings of unhurried singing, honest preaching from Scripture, and space to simply be still.

Community Groups

Small circles that meet midweek in homes — for prayer, real conversation, and walking through life together.

Outreach & Mercy

Food distribution, hospital visitation, and support for families in crisis — love made practical.

Discipleship & Teaching

Classes and mentoring for those who want to go deeper in Scripture and in their walk with God.

Youth & Children

A safe, joyful place for the next generation to encounter Scripture and belong to a wider family.

Prayer & Fasting

Regular gatherings devoted simply to seeking God's presence — no agenda but His.
